think tomorrow will be worse than today. we have the air quality alert, it's a code orange ozone action day. those insensitive groups want to limit your exposure from now until 6:00. you don't want to exert yourself. people with asthma or heart and lung conditions and young kids to take it easy too. we expect the air quality to remain poor. right now up to 90 degrees in philadelphia. that is a quick rise to 90. 88 in trenton and almost 90 in allento allentown, and millville. and cape may 86 degrees. if feels like 92 in philadelphia but we expect that increase this afternoon and get broader and wider tomorrow. we are going for a high temperature this afternoon of 94 degrees, well above the average high of 97.

here this a day after the fbi director blasted hillary clinton's handling of her emails when she was secretary of state. but no criminal charges are forthcoming, the fbi director is being hauled before congress tomorrow for this issue. >> the gop will handle hillary clinton on the character and integrity issue and hillary clinton will continue to blast donald trump saying he will do the same thing for the entire nation that he did for atlanta city. i'm vernon odom, channel 6 "action news." >> and accidental shooting left a 14-year-old girl hurt in the city's german town section, it happened after 3:00 a.m. on lloyd street near eastwood lawn street. the girl and several other teenagers found the gun in the house and were playing with it when it went off. the girl was shot in the hand and the same bullet went into her chest. they found two guns on the roof

of the home, and the girl is in stable condition. in the city's hunting park section a 13-year-old was shot in the leg late last into. it happened on north darrian street. and the teenager was among a group of young people standing on the street when words were exchanged with a woman in the car, she came back a short time later with a man that opened fire on the crowd. we'll have more in the next half hour. >> developing news from washington, d.c. president obama made a major announcement about u.s. military involvement in afghanistan. the president says that troop reduction will slow down. 8400 troops will stay there until at least the end of the next year. there are currently 9800 troops in afghanistan, the president acknowledges that the security situation there is difficult and more afghan men and women and children are dying. they hope to reduce the troop number to 5500 by the

the nrg power company gave a big boost to mana the nonprofit that serves meals to those in need. they presented a $20,000 check to mana's headquarters in center city. this check will keep their meal program running. funding for that program was recently cut. they are urging people to donate through the philanthropic
